Christopher Monk Church Serpent

This is my Christopher Monk church serpent in C, keyless, sycamore wrapped in black leather. It is one of the last instruments made by Monk before he passed away and I am the 2nd owner of it. It has a strong sound and an excellent representation of a Baudouin replica. I rarely perform on this instrument anymore because my Ribo serpent is fantastic, but I enjoy keeping this Monk around. I used this instrument on a variety of film scores and video game soundtracks, notably for my friend and composer Austin Wintory.
