Here’s a custom build contrabass trombone by my collaborator, Don Sawday. It has the original prototype Kanstul contrabass bell flare, a custom built and modified contrabass slide with remote waterkey, inline rotary valves in “American Tuning” C/Db/AA. It has a custom hand bent seamed copper tuning slide along with a custom build hand brace (inspired by the HAAG design). Finished in bright lacquer, cosmetically its darn good but it does have a few small imperfections in the finish… a beautiful playing contrabass trombone built by Don the master! Sold without case.
