Here’s an early elkhart Bach 42B, 31xxx serial dating it to the mid 1970s, aka a “Corporation” Bach because it has that written on the bell as well as made in Elkhart IND. These are becoming prized instruments and harder to find. Interestingly, the rotary valve seems to have been replaced at some point in this trombones life as it has a more modern 1980s style Bach made rotary valve instead of the period correct Marston valve I would expect to see. Slide is in good condition, some minor lacquer wear from use. A very nice playing trombone and an excellent candidate to put a modern valve on it. Comes with a case and a 6.5AL mouthpiece
