This is a very nice Elkhart Conn 88H from around 1958. This one is a transitional model as it is around this period that Conn removed the tuning slide cap and also made the handbraces on the slide thinner. This particular 88H is a really great player, it has that classic Conn sound with a beautiful warmth and bloom and that precision and color that 88Hs are known for. It does have some wear and also some bits of the valve wrap have been dented a bit from the case and would be a tough repair short of taking it all apart. So keeping that in mind, it is priced on the lower side because of the cosmetics but it is very fine playing example. With the original case but no mouthpiece.
