The flagship of the Kanstul trombone line, this is the model 1662i, the rare inline CR valve version of their popular 1662 Symphony model. Based on the Elkhart 62H tuning in the slide bass, this is a more modern approach to that instrument BUT with inline valves in Bb/F/Gb/D. Lightly braced and also lightweight to hold compared to many double valve bass trombones, it makes these quite special bass trombones. This one is in very nice condition, 9.5″ gold brass bell. Straight .562″ tuning in the slide, gold brass outer tubes. 3 leadpipes and a case are included. Kanstul has been out of business for a while now, making these bass trombones harder to come by since there is a finite supply and the inline versions did not have many built.
