This is a neat setup, Conn style red brass lightweight bell flare with original hand engraving, inline thayer valves, B6278 slide. The blow and sound is full and rich on the front end with a super fast response from the lightweight bell which yields a clear and exciting sound on the backend. Would be well suited for a bass trombone player that’s looking for a vintage style bass but wants the open feel of a modern instrument and the added vibe of inline thayer valves.
