This is a Shires Artist Signature George Curran model bass trombone. It features the “GC” bell which is a medium weight soldered yellow brass BII bell to George’s specs with a special annealing process. A lightweight inline axial valve section in Bb/F/Gb/D, BYC tuning slide and a dual bore .562/.578 slide with nickel crook. This particular instrument is in good overall condition but has been played and used and shows some cosmetic scratches in the lacquer. The paddles have been modified with oversided custom wood pieces. Sold without case, one leadpipe is included.
