Here’s one from my personal collection. This is a Bach 42 Sterling Silver Plus bell flare. A solid silver seamless bell in 8.5″ made on the Bach 42 mandrel, no mounting hardware but a Bach 42 tuning slide receiver is affixed. I removed the lacquer so the bell has patina on it with a really beautiful bluish hue… Personally, I love the look, but it could easily be polished shiny if so desired. These are quite rare and I don’t believe they are currently being made… this one is ready to mount on your favorite large tenor.
