Here’s a beautiful vintage Conn Elkhart 70H, circa early 1953-1954 (400,xxx serial). Overall in lovely vintage condition, the J bend is intact without any dents. Bell hasn’t been damaged and looks very clean. The slide action is good, no wear on the inner tubes and the opera wheel tuning mechanism is smooth. Deco bell engraving and the horn does appear to have been relacquered once in its life. Sounds like George Roberts! Rare to find these single valve bass trombones in this kind of condition for being 70+ years old and in top shape ready to play. Slide still has spring bumpers but we can replace with felt if you want. With a protec case.
