This is a special 1920s Conn Elkhart 78H medium bore trombone, constructed of red brass and nickel silver. Previously owned by the late Jerry Kuhl, this trombone has seen a lot of use but remains quite playable with lots of character. There are many patches to cover holes and thin spots but don’t let that dissuade you… this horn plays! Recently cleaned up and lightly polished here at The Brass Ark, it is in raw brass. Slide has original nickel inner tubes and the slide is working but not modern slide action. The bell section has a slight bend in the neckpipe which looks crooked but it doesn’t affect playability. REDUCED $1100 without case sold as is.
