Here’s a vintage Shires Axial tenor, circa early 2000s. It has a hand engraved 2R bell, axial valve, TB47 slide (missing a slide lock). Quite a good playing trombone, very nice to see these old hand engraved bells and this one has a rare unsoldered red brass bell. The instrument has been used quite a bit, there’s lots of mute dings and scarring on the bell, wear on the contact points and grips. Slide action and valve are working well. With an older BAM France case.
