This is a York Model 3067 Preference compensating euphonium with 3+1 configuration. These were made in Germany in the early 2000s and are very nice playing instruments. They have a large shank mouthpiece receiver and are based on the Besson Sovereign models. Intonation is good and predictable, sound is vibrant and singing and the valve action is excellent. In lacquered yellow brass, some cosmetic acid bleed (tarnish under the lacquer from residual flux) around the rim and honest use showing in the contact points and lacquer. Includes a very nice protec gig bag. Sold as is, no returns on this one. A great deal for a professional level compensating euphonium.
